Bloomfield United Methodist has a variety of music ministries to be involved in, please feel free to join in the fun as we worship together. We believe music ministry is a very important part of any worship service. There is always a place for you and our doors will be open when it comes to praising the Lord with music.
The Kids for Christ is our children’s music ministry. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. Each week they learn new music and perform on the first Sunday of the month. This ministry allows the kids to be themselves and give back to our church family by praising God through music. AS well as monthly performances the children participate in our Christmas Music Program. Joyce Johnson is the Director. Please call the church office for more information.
Heavenly Harmony is a four piece band consisting of piano, trumpet, flute and clarinet. Traditional hymns as well as contemporary music are performed on a monthly basis. Practices are held on Monday evening s at 7p.m. in the sanctuary. We are always looking for new members, so if you play an instrument please join us!
Chimes of Praise is our newest music ministry. Led by Matthew Hanauer, COPs is teaching music and worship to God through the beautiful sounds of chimes. All ages are welcome to attend. Practices are held on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30 in the Sanctuary. Come listen and learn how to play the chimes. What a wonderful way to be involved in music ministry.
Chancel Choir is our adult music ministry. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. We need voices in our choir, so please come and be a part of this group. Anyone with or without music experience is welcome. We would love to have you in the choir loft with a smiling face.
